Truly ethical and sustainable jewellery house, The Rock Hound (founded by Susi Smither FGA GIA JDT), is delighted to offer a wand from the latest collection, HotRocks – crafted by hand by Susi in her workshop from recycled silver, finished with a flash of the brand’s trademark kaleidoscopic colour.

A perfect gift to oneself or a loved one, each pendant is an exact replica of a quartz wand, cast through the lost wax-casting process. The pendant is cast from 42g of recycled silver and covered with nano-ceramic colour – here in turquoise. The silver wand has a truly unique presence when worn and even picks up your body heat.

The wand on offer is worth £280, measures 14.5 by 52 mm and comes with a 22inch silver chain.

HotRocks is currently being showcased and sold exclusively in Selfridges London, within their ethical and sustainable jewellery pop-up in the Ground Floor Accessories department in partnership with La Masion Couture. Find it by the Duke Street entrance from now until 26 February 2023.

HotRocks was recently worn by Hayley Atwell at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) and provides a more accessible entry point for gem lovers and jewellery obsessives, but, as ever, is made by hand in her Hertfordshire studio by award-winning gemmologist jeweller, Susi Smither FGA GIA JDT.
