Enjoy your own stunning garden with these easy celeb tips
Editorial Feature
If you follow celebs on the ’gram and all their many house improvements, you’ll know having a stylish outside space is pretty much a prerequisite. Okay, so they might have a little bit more cash to splash than the rest of us – but that doesn’t mean you can’t transform your own back garden into something pretty similar – and at a fraction of the price!
It’s more than likely you’ll be spending a lot of time in it – with the ever-changing travel traffic light system putting holidays abroad in doubt – so read on for some celebrity inspiration when it comes to getting all green-fingered.
1. Turn a fence into a statement wall like Tamzin Outhwaite
How cool has EastEnders actress Tamzin made her back garden look with this amazing statement wall? The three prints are all courtesy of Yard Art. These offer waterproof and fadeproof prints that are durable for all outside areas. All of the designs are printed onto one flat sheet of outdoor acrylic, which can then be mounted to walls or fence panels. Jess Wright, Mario Falcone and Georgia Kousoulou are also all fans of the range.
2. Remember to look after the little ones like Peter Andre
Peter’s a family man, through and through. His Instagram is filled with pictures of him spending time with his kids Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo. We therefore weren’t at all surprised to see this snap of his back garden, complete with slide and swing in the background. The Plum Play Wooden Lookout Tower looks to be a pretty good match – made from durable pine, which promises durability and strength, it’s also been pressure treated to guard against wood rot and infestation.
3. Make your garden a social space like Lucie Donlan
Love Islander Lucie transformed her home in Teesside – and we’re mighty impressed by how she has made over the garden. Surfer Lucie posted a series of pictures on her stories of their outside space, writing; “Here is the new project.” The outside bar has been painted in a vivid shade of ocean blue, which is no doubt a nod to Lucie’s love of the water. Why not invest in this Mercia Pressure Treated Garden Bar from Wilko – it’s up to you whether you want to paint it in the same blue hue…
