The stars that conquered Spartan Race 2019
Thousands of determined competitors descended on Twickenham Stadium to take part in the gruelling Spartan Race.
Proving that they aren’t scared to get down and dirty like the rest of us, a handful celebrities geared up to test their mental and physical capabilities at the London obstacle race course this year too.
The Body Coach aka Joe Wicks and England Cricketer, Jonny Bairstow were among those who were victorious in completing the race, which involves running, climbing walls and lifting objects of different weights.
Reality stars including Love Island 2019 contestant Chris Taylor also made an appearance at the obstacle course event, which is the first of its kind to be held at such a major sports venue inside a sports stadium.
Competitors weaved their way through 5km of sloping walkways, navigated the winding corridors and scaled the iconic stadium stairs in what is the biggest new sporting event to come to London.
On their respective Instagram accounts, they shared photos of their victory and photos captured the stars taking part in the sold-out event.
